“Growing up, there was a shop called Hollyhocks & Ivy in Flemington that my mom and I would make an annual pilgrimage to pick up our season’s worth of plants. The hour-drive was worth it to explore the shop within a tiny cottage–walls clad with wicker baskets, shelves upon shelves of terra cotta pots, and a very small, but beautiful selection of herbs, strawberries, and annuals. This was my happy place during my formative years, and that feeling of bliss has stuck with me ever since. When I think of the most understated type of elegance, it’s this. It’s greenery, grasses and florals in their most natural form. When conceptualizing these color narratives, this was the first one on the list, and the first prototype we pulled together. I’m really proud of this one.”
